What is it: Dietary food intended for special medical purposes based on sodium butyrate LSC® Microcaps EU patent n.2352386 for slow release in the colon / rectum, enzyme-dependent.

Butyrose® Lsc® Microcaps is indicated for the diet of subjects suffering from colon diseases with altered trophism of the intestinal mucosa (diarrhea, irritable bowel, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, proctitis) and for disorders of the contractile and motor activity of the colon. It helps to rebalance the microbiota, favoring the right environment to develop the symbiont flora. Also recommended in cases of severe alterations of the intestinal bacterial flora-dysbiosis.

The ingredients: microencapsulated sodium butyrate (certified sustainable hydrogenated palm oil *, sodium butyrate, bulking agent: E 516, flavorings, glazing agent: E 477), vegetarian capsule (glazing agent: E 464, dye: zinc oxide). Without gluten, lactose, sugars, yeasts and preservatives.

How to use: 2-3 capsules a day near meals, in case of difficulty swallowing it is possible to open the capsule and take its contents by dispersing it in drinks or semi-solid foods. There are no time limits to administration. Box of 30 or 15 slow-release capsules of 670 mg containing 550 mg of Lsc® microencapsulated sodium butyrate. In case of redness, itching or lesions in the anal and perianal area related to gastrointestinal pathologies, it is possible to combine the use of Dermatir®.
